Gibby's Joint

Gibby's Joint is a folk duo from the Greater Philadelphia area.

Fusing elements of Americana, Jazz, and Soul, 

they explore classics and hidden gems from an array of musical genres. 

The Players

Brandon Dennis: a classically trained vocalist, educator and a member of the core cooperative of Jazz Philadelphia. 

Brian Z London: a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and educator, who has performed in

iconic venues ranging from the Painted Bride to CBGBs in a career spanning nearly fifty years.

Special Guests

Gibby's Joint  is often joined in perfromance by other musicians. 

Tom Krumm: Throughout his childhood, Tom was exposed to music of all types including Classical, Gypsy Jazz, Swing, Old Time, Celtic and much more. Continuing his education at the Berklee College of Music, Tom had the opportunity to expand his musical horizons even further. Tom is currently based in the Philadelphia area teaching and performing. 

Vilme Joselin Jr. : A native of the city of brotherly love, Vilme Joselin started his violin career at the ripe age of 13.  After attending the High School for the Creative and Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Vilme went on to pursue a degree in Violin Performance at the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University. A strong advocate of developing opportunities for young urban and less fortunate children, Vilme is currently serving as a violin teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. Vilme has performed on stages such as the Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center and more, making appearances alongside acts like Lauryn Hill & the DePue Brothers Band.
